This poster campaign celebrates the 200th anniversary of Liverpool John Moores University. It presents a range of promotional material including instagram posts, an email invite, and a twitter banner. After exploration through LJMU archives, this projects focuses on the observation that hidden gems can
be found amongst the ephemera. This emphasises the message that there is something for everybody at LJMU.

Consumerism is forcing us to lose our connections to the earth. Fast fashion, food waste, and fossil fuels are not only damaging to the environment, but place an ethical burden on us, the consumer. By reclaiming these processes we help to promote a more sustainable future whilst caring for our mind, body, and soul.  


This campaign presents environment specific ideas for nurturing actions to take. All of the elements have been brought together onto a step centered site.

Inspired by Jean-Paul Goude’s design for the Grace Jones album ‘Island Life’. The image for this album was made from multiple photographs cut and pasted together to create an exaggerated pose. This approach has been replicated and exaggerated again within
the construction of the typeface itself.

A microsite was created in order to showcase the identity of the magazine. The masthead utilises an edited version of Kontanter Bold by FontFabric.
A combination of upper and lowercase glyphs have been selected to create the full word 'WOODLAND'. Some of the glyphs were edited to better fit the overall look and feel of the
magazine's identity. The 'W' was edited
to reflect a very stylised line of trees. Some additions that
felt too distracting were removed
for a less busy typeface that still retained
some character and confidence.

A creative protest campaign raising awareness of how we can act on climate change by eating seasonal fruit and veg. Created as part of the 1.5 Degrees: Sweat the small stuff exhibition hosted by Metal Liverpool. This set of protest signs feature collaged illustrations by Puja Varia and highlight which fruit and vegetables are in season during early spring.

Hosted by Metal Liverpool, this exhibition explored hopeful and innovative responses to the climate crisis. "Art can be seen on your daily commute, or found whilst walking to the shops. It is to be shared and easily accessed, not only to exist in galleries. Find it in the streets!"Inspiration has been taken from the 1960s Fluxus movement to inform the visual language and concept of this work. Utilising original typography, this sticker campaign proposes a wider scale project intended to encourage finding art in everyday life.
