'Woodland' is a quietly confident magazine intended to be easily accessible to those with a creative mind and love for the outdoors. This magazine uses recycled paper and reflects a respect for our environment and the organisms that live in it. It takes a creative look at the woodlands and showcases work that has been inspired by them.

A microsite was created in order to showcase the identity of the magazine. The masthead utilises an edited version of Kontanter Bold by FontFabric. A combination of upper and lowercase glyphs have been selected to create the full word 'WOODLAND'. Some of the glyphs were edited to better fit the overall look and feel of the magazine's identity. The 'W' was edited to reflect a very stylised line of trees. Some additions that felt too distracting were removed for a less busy typeface that still retained some character and confidence.
